Jiulong Chinese Prickly ash has large grain, thick flesh, and bright oily colour. It is famous for its fragrant aroma and tastefulness. Among it, "Zhenglu", "Dahongpao" and "Gaojiaohuang" are the most noted. So-called Tribute Chinese Prickly Ash, grown in Naiqu, Jiulong,was once a necessity of the royal cook.
